Planning framed canvas printing in puzhuthivakkam? Start with the place where the display will be used and the information a customer or guest needs to notice. At Flex Printing Chennai, we help turn that brief into a practical design and print specification. This guide explains what to send, what to check and which details belong in the quotation before you approve production.
Choose the picture for the wall
A canvas works best when the image and the viewing distance suit each other. Measure the wall and consider nearby furniture before selecting the print size. A family portrait above a sofa needs a different crop from a small travel photograph on a study wall. Send the original file where possible, not a compressed messaging-app copy. We can review the proposed size, but enlarging a low-resolution image cannot recreate detail that was never present.
Allow for the wrapped edges
A stretched canvas needs material around the edges to wrap over the frame. If a face, building or important word sits close to the border, the crop needs careful review. Discuss whether the edge will continue the photograph, use a mirrored treatment or carry a plain colour. None of these choices should be decided after printing. Check the front-view preview and the edge treatment together so the finished frame preserves the part of the photograph you value.
Confirm construction and hanging details
Canvas printing, stretching and decorative framing are different parts of the order. Ask what is included and confirm the finished dimensions rather than only the image dimensions. For a group of frames, plan the gap between pieces and the intended alignment. Avoid positioning a canvas where moisture, harsh cleaning or persistent direct sunlight may affect it. Tell us whether the finished piece is a gift so the collection date and protective packing can be planned before the celebration.
A useful image-file handover
Name the selected image files clearly and state which photograph belongs to each canvas. Include the final front-view size and the agreed edge treatment with every item. If retouching is requested, explain the change specifically and approve the edited preview before printing. A print cannot be evaluated accurately from a dim phone screen alone, so tell us when colour or skin tone is particularly important. For a wall set, keep an approved arrangement diagram with the order for reference during hanging.

Compare the right service and confirm the scope
Explore our canvas printing and framing, then compare print-ready design support and personalised welcome boards if the display needs a different format. Send the finished size, quantity, artwork and intended placement together. Ask for design, material, finishing, supports and installation to be listed clearly rather than assumed. Approve the final artwork before production; any later change may affect the price or completion time.
Payment is 100% in advance after the order scope is confirmed. Collection or delivery can be coordinated separately, subject to the package size, destination and the agreed production timeline. Please confirm an event deadline before booking transport, and check the supplied print before arranging fitting. We will discuss the practical requirements instead of promising a universal turnaround for every material and order size.
A question customers often ask
Can any phone photo become a large canvas?
Some can, depending on the original file and intended size. Send the original photo for a practical size and crop review before ordering.
